Education

  1. 2016–2026 Academy of Architecture, Amsterdam Architecture. Graduated on Wat wil het huis?, mentored by Machiel Spaan
  2. 2010–2014 TU Delft Building science, with minors in advanced prototyping and landscape architecture

Work

  1. 2015–present Own practice Design, architecture and construction, focused on the reuse of material. Often in collaboration with makers and clients, among them the Marktheater, Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Plan B and Fiction Factory. Earlier work was published under the name Ruimterups
  2. 2018–2025 Jos Rhemrev architectuur en stedenbouw Designer. Housing and clients from small and medium-sized businesses, from concept and planning permission through to construction, with close attention to the interior
  3. 2017–2018 Studio Valkenier De Ceuvel, the Tuin van Bret and the head office of Médecins Sans Frontières
  4. 2015–2016 Caro van Dijk Architectuur Designer. Care buildings, particularly for people with dementia
  5. 2014–2015 De Kabelfabriek Designer at a marketing agency
  6. 2012 Arie van Ziel architectuur Specification writer
  7. 2006–2009 Aannemersbedrijf Nottrot Builder’s labourer. Renovation and timber construction

Other activities

  1. 2014 African Heritage, Malawi Internship. Design of a hotel

Dutch and English fluent; French and German at a basic level.
